Tailored corrosion tests

In addition to the classic and electrochemical corrosion tests, we also offer a further range of tailored and application-specific corrosion tests. Here we can also develop and perform new corrosion tests tailored to your specific application parameters.

These tests are primarily concerned with material resistance in media, which is established by exposure tests at a defined temperature in liquids or gases. After the tests, the specimens are evaluated regarding corrosion phenomena.

Below you will find an excerpt of examples of tests carried out:

• Exposure to liquids to determine the media resistance for metals, but also for polymers, e.g. according to DIN EN ISO 175.
• Temperature alternating tests with/without media change exposure, e.g., on exhaust gas components, brake components or industrial baking sheets
• Intensified outdoor weathering
